JASDFW is glad to share this program presented by the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco. 

Zen Buddhist priest Rev. Takafumi Kawakami will join a global audience, live from the Shunkoin Temple in Kyoto, to lead a session in the practice of self-cultivation. This practice begins with meditation and according to tradition, helps us create more flexible ways of looking at the world. It Removes biases and looks at the way the world is now, providing more resilience in a time of change and uncertainty. Rev. Takafumi Kawakami is the deputy head priest at Shunkoin Temple and travels the world giving talks about the Zen Buddhism, well-being, and self-cultivation (meditation and contemplation).
