See Japanese Baseball Star
Shohei Ohtani in Arlington
While cheering on the hometown team, we will also see Japanese icon Shohei Ohtani, who plays for the Los Angeles Angels. Ohtani won the 2021 American League MVP (most valuable player) award in a year that was deemed “historically significant” by the commissioner of Major League Baseball.
In 2021, he was was also the first player in MLB history to be an All-Star as both a pitcher and a hitter. Last season, he followed up his historic campaign with another amazing season, finishing 2nd in MVP voting, earning All-MLB 1st team as a pitcher and 2nd team for designated hitter, and becoming the first player in MLB history to have 10 pitching wins and 30 home runs in the same season.
Discounted tickets are throughout the ballpark. Enter the code JASDFW23 to access reduced rates and choose your seats based on your budget. All purchases will require you to download the MLB Ballpark App to access tickets and use them at the gate on game night.
If you cannot make the game in August, you can use the link for any game during the year, including a mid-June visit by the Angels and Ohtani.
