Japan America Friendship Night moves to Frisco for a special outing in 2023
Our popular Japan America Friendship Night, which began in 2012, returns this year in a unique setting – Riders Field, home of the Frisco RoughRiders and the defending Texas League champions! Since opening in 2003, Riders Field has consistently been recognized as one of the best baseball stadiums in all the minor leagues. Join us for this family-focused event to build U.S.-Japan camaraderie and cheer on the Riders.
Pre-game activities will include cultural activities led by Japan-America Society staff and volunteers, a first pitch by Consul General Hirofumi Murabayashi, and a taiko drumming performance by Dallas Kiyari Daiko. Read below about the many other reasons to come out to the ballpark on June 25. Tickets are available in section 123, close to the game action and the visitor’s bullpen. Prices start at just $12!
