Arlington, TX — August 21– The Texas Rangers and the JAPAN-AMERICA SOCIETY OF DALLAS/FORT WORTH (JASDFW) are proud to present the 2025 Japan-America Friendship Night on Monday, August 25, 2025, at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

This special evening celebrates the enduring friendship and cultural exchange between Japan and the United States, highlighted by the participation of a visiting delegation of 16 Japanese middle school students. These students will enjoy an unforgettable all-American baseball experience, including attending batting practice, cheering on the Rangers, receiving team gear and concessions, while engaging with JASDFW members and organizers of the event.

Before the game, the students will be introduced on the field to honor their role as cultural ambassadors and symbolize the continuing ties between Japan and North Texas. Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) CEO Ted Ogawa will be throwing the ceremonial first pitch.

Fans are invited to join the celebration as the Texas Rangers take on the Los Angeles Angels, enjoying a night of camaraderie, baseball, and cross-cultural connection. Fans can purchase tickets to Monday’s game on MLB.com.
