2019 Sendai International Half Marathon

Outrun the ordinary. Be an athlete ambassador for the City of Dallas at the 2019 Sendai International Half Marathon. The Japan-America Society will send two runners to compete in the half marathon on May 12, 2019.

Ms. Irene Hirano Inouye, president of U.S.-Japan Council, will receive the Sun & Star Legacy Award for her lifelong contributions to U.S.-Japan relations on multiple levels and in many realms, especially through her leadership at the Japanese American National Museum and U.S.-Japan Council.
The Award Dinner features a cocktail reception, silent auction, and an exclusive Patrons' Reception for sponsors and dignitaries, followed by dinner and the award program.
