[Shigeru Kawai Chamber Music Series] Inaugural Concert Featuring Shannon Lee

Join us for the inaugural concert in the Shigeru Kawai Chamber Music Series and experience DFW’s own internationally acclaimed Shannon Lee on violin with TCU piano professor Michael Bukhman accompanying on piano!

The Inaugural Concert of the Shigeru Kawai Chamber Series to be held at Kawai Piano Gallery on Saturday, October 19th at 6 pm.  The series is under the artistic directorship of Gary Levinson, principal associate concertmaster of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.

The featured artist is violinist, Shannon Lee.  Shannon has won numerous international awards, has a bachelors degree in Computer Science from Columbia University and is pursing her Masters in Violin Performance at the Cleveland Institute of Music in Philadelphia. Shannon has won prizes in 4 major international competitions; most recently 2nd prize at the Sendai International Music Competition where she was also named an audience award.

The concert begins at 6pm with her recital ending at 6:50.  There will be a “Meet & Greet” the artist reception following the concert.
