DALLAS, TX – The Japan-America Society Dallas / Fort Worth invites you to its premier Sun & Star Legacy Award Dinner, on May 23, 2025. This prestigious annual gala celebrates individuals who have made exceptional contributions to U.S.-Japan relations.

This year, we are honored to present the Sun & Star Legacy Award to Douglas S. Moore, recognizing his impact on the international U.S.-Japan relationship. Mr. Moore is the Former President and CEO of Fujitsu Network Communication, Inc., Fujitsu North America, Inc., and Head of the Americas Region. The Bridges-to-Friendship Award will be awarded to Elaine Browning, Former Board Chair, Chair of the Dallas-Sendai International Friendship City Committee of the Japan-America Society of Dallas / Fort Worth, for her dedication to strengthening cultural and business ties in our community.
