26th Japan-America Grassroots Summit: Post-Summit Visit to Dallas

October 10-12, 2016


The 26th Japan-America Grassroots Summit will be held in Atlanta this year, and Dallas will be hosting a post-summit trip for seven of the Japanese participants. They will arrive at DFW Airport on Monday, October 10 and depart on Wednesday, October 12. During the day, they will attend sight-seeing activities in Dallas and Fort Worth. Celebrate the full autumn moon at Klyde Warren Park with an evening picnic, calligraphy, tea ceremony, Ikebana, and haiku poetry. Enjoy music by violinist Kazuhiro Takagi, Dallas Kiyari Daiko drummers, and shakuhachi master Stan Richardson, plus moon activities and a rabbit-petting zoo with The Bunny Burrow Rabbit Rescue.
