On July 2, six Dallas-area high school students will depart for Sendai to learn first-hand about Japanese culture through the Young Ambassadors exchange program. While in Japan, the students will experience a homestay and visit schools and other landmarks in Sendai, Dallas’ friendship city. The program is designed to cultivate a new generation of leaders interested in U.S. – Japan relation.

The Dallas-Sendai Young Ambassadors is part of the  TOMODACHI NAJAS Exchange Program funded by the TOMODACHI Fund for Exchanges through generous contributions from Toyota Motor Corporation, Mitsubishi Corporation, and Hitachi, Ltd.
