[TCU] Food, Peace, and Reconciliation – Lecture with Tomoko Arakawa

Please join the TCU Department of Political Science, AddRan College of Liberal Arts, the Department of Asian Studies, and the John V. Roach Honors College  for a public lecture by Tomoko Arakawa on 9/23/19 at 5:30 PM in Palko 130.

Tomoko Arakawa is a 2019-2020 TCU Global Innovator for her work as director of the Asian Rural Institute (ARI), which trains rural leaders from the developing world on community leadership and organic farming techniques. With TCU’s support, ARI will be establishing a new curriculum on peace and reconciliation. Ms. Arakawa started working at ARI in 1995 and became Director in 2015. She earned an MA in Rural Sociology at Michigan State University.
